  First off, Niagara Pet Corner isnt a big chain store, so if thats what you're expecting, you'll be disappointed. That being said, this is a great store. They sell all the essentials and then some! They also have a better reptile section than most stores in Welland.

  The staff are always very friendly when I go in. Even when I make miniscule purchases like crickets fir my reptiles or feeder minnows fir my Piranha who was also purchased here when it was only a tiny baby - now much much larger.

  I had stopped nearby because something on the shelf had caught my attention however as I was standing there the owner said "I think that women in the USA are over reacting about the sexual assault stuff going on" he then proceeded to say "A little smack on the bottom or behind is not that big of a deal and people need to calm down a bit" not only was that completely unprofessional, disgusting, and disrespectful but embarrassing!

  It was earlier in the day so it seemed that only he was there. I spent a little bit looking around waiting to be assisted but the owner was too busy chatting away with a delivery driver! I started making my way over and he said he was going to be awhile. Now I'd understand if it was business and customer related however it was not.

  The woman who works there with the long hair is always extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about her animals. She has a "pet first" kind of attitude which is amazing because it's nice to know that she cares about the animals. It just tells me that they aren't in the pet trade to make a quick buck and that makes me feel good shopping here.

  I went in to look for some fish and I was absolutely disgusted and ashamed at what I heard out of the owners mouth.

  Definitely the best option in Welland for all my pets needs.
